Transport Canada has published proposed new regulations for skydiving in Canada.

 C.A.P.S. is working to get these proposals reconsidered.

Please click on  news for a link to the proposed amendments to the Canadian Aviation Regulations to include new regulations for skydiving training and new rules for skydiving operations in uncontrolled airspace.

The proposed regulations recognize the procedures and standards of the Canadian Associates of  Professional Skydivers. Adherence to these procedures has until now been voluntary, and has helped us achieve an excellent safety record in Canada for a high-risk sport.
